I was the lead video engineer in the general session with 12 projectors converged on 6 screens, three cameras, 4 outputs including confidence monitors, recording on 6 DV CAMs, switching with 4 Screen Pro IIs matrixed with a controller, video playback machines and graphics. This show included complex routing for 6 15 minute turns where the general session changed to three breakouts and back.
American Film Festival/Market, Santa Monica
I was the lead video engineer for four years. I ran a 14 man crew setting and running audio visual for two hotels. At the Lowes we set up and serviced 78 exhibits set in sleeping rooms converted to offices and ran press conferences for 10 days. Next door at the Le Merigo I ran four screening rooms that premiered over 200 films. I worked 234 hours over 14 days the first time I did the show.
Presidential (2004) and Vice Presidential (2008) Debates at Washington University
I ran a 12 man crew in 08 setting up over 100 plasmas and LCDs for the spin room, network correspondent’s rooms and in the debate hall itself.
ANC / America's Center
I converged and blended 10 Panasonic 21k laser projectors on a 160 ft. scrim. Along with maintaining the blend for the week, I did all video playback and shaded 3 cameras. This show included an Andy Grammer concert.
Primarica / Cancun
I operated a grass valley turbo hard drive playback machine with over a hundred video rolls per show. I was also responsible for all the recordings. This event took place in the largest ballroom south of the border.
The Junior League / The Renaissance Grand
I was the Technical Director and ran a crew of 8 for the three day event. I drafted detailed flow sheets, consulted on equipment, and was the main point of contact for everyone involved with AV. This show included an elaborate video setup with a blend.
Wine and Food Festival / Chase Park Plaza
I switched video and operated robotic cameras for 16 cooking shows over two days. I did this show for four years.
Ted Nugent and Trace Adkins / America’s Center
I was the lead video engineer for two separate concerts in the Ferrara Theater for the NRA, Ted’s portion made national headlines.
Nephrology Convention / America’s Center
I edited 972 presentations in a speaker ready room over a two week period. Nearly every doctor’s presentation needed photos and videos converted to workable formats.
